i think parts of my mock is worse, but im not sure how i like the gold part interact w the noggles in yours -- maybe its fine but not sold yet

agree! the buckle is also disproportionate to the strap. Maybe a single pixel to represent it? in looking at mountie hat images, lower profile is better, the indentation and shape is important. This hat look too flat topped. more dimension in the indentations would help

2 new iterations based on feedback. I love the pointier top of the hat and I changed the indent a bit even though it's behind the noggles. I think the smaller buckle also works. Added the original one in the second image for reference.

i like the pointier version of the shape you made there. here's some ideas including a lower hat with a thicker strap 🤷♂️

there's an odd spot spot where the shading is under the noggles and the bridge is hiding/revealing a bit of shading but not enough to know what's going on. I wonder if a taller hat would fix that, even though I like the shorter
