Helpful framing. 100eth says this is wrong, and that it won’t be close. Also throwing in that bids will be more liquid on nft mkt vs LP for free. If we have a bet I may even vote FOR 🫠

One possible outcome - if $nouns falls below the Noun value represented, the well capitalized will still buy and redeem for Nouns, but small buyers will face problems coordinating to redeem and will either sit on the tokens or sell at a loss. In this situation backing with Nouns could act more as a price ceiling.

but in effect noun is selectively liquid but on secondary there are simply no bids at bv and no offers below. if $nouns pulls enough out of retail to to change this then noun secondary will see activity. $nouns becoming consistently more desirable than noun is an extreme left-curve outcome & so easy to bet against

I’m trying to bootstrap a futarchic market as a way to benchmark the relative conviction around the different viewpoints here. If the group in favor of this has a good-faith belief stake some eth behind it. My disposable nw is definitelynot > nounders+40 and whoever else may support. Also happy to discuss it sync
