Don't quite understand why not have the intention to give 1K, just do it gradually to mitigate hacking risk and see that NB actually helps people achieve cool things?

I haven’t voted yet but share a similar sentiment. I love everything about NB and this proposal, one with potentially a huge impact. But why not start smaller and de-risk it a bit.

I think this is purely from our perspective. of course, we'd like to de-risk and keep them on the leash. but is nouns gov necessarily reliable always? at minimum would they not have to distract themselves in trying to build this governance activation energy again? I think fair to ask for a good faith commit up front.

All I’m questioning how much market validation the DAO should expect before commiting 1000 eth.

it’s a fair question. personally the poc, value aligned prop, team quality, early validation with @purple crosses the threshold for me.
