i’m still convinced that $nouns (nouns backed fungible token; for example 1 nouns = 1,000,000 $nouns) should happen if you have thoughts on the matter share them here in replies or dm me! unless there’s meaningful pushback i’m gonna start pushing for it harder soon

well if the point is that $nogs is already a fungible token associated with nouns so we should use that i disagree. the main point here is to make a fungible token that you can redeem for nouns

Nouns DAO has funded 195+2E + $243,000 (over $1M marked to market at time of writing) for $nogs and NNS the point is with auction prices trending downward, modulating a project the DAO has already spent $1m on would seem more prudent than starting from scratch am wondering how this qualifies as a public good though

the funding for NNS was primarily a grant to work on the naming service imo! ($nogs is an incentive added to NNS but not what the dao funded as the target output) also the “work” here is not really the eng hours in building out the mint / redeem smart contract. so the reuse eng efficiency argument feels weak to me
