Disagree. On a long enough timescale, it’s both. Short term I agree with you. But also front ends are analogous to dumb terminals, they just do interaction. All the magic is in DeFi and wallets.

Personally, I don't think that's realistic. The vast majority of folks strongly prefer convenience over security -- and I don't see that changing. I do believe we can find a hybrid solution with a bank that has all the safeguards users wants (max withdrawals, security, etc) while using DeFi under the hood.

I do agree that you’ll get at least 12m people to use it. I’d caution that you might get a difficult and fickle user group with little ability to understand what’s going on, so if you’re into supporting those type of users, they’re all yours.
