Revenue will almost certainly make you more money than VC funding will ever will, unless you’re Ryan breslow. If you have a long term perspective then these two are often at odds, go with revenue and you’ll learn far more

With this, which d’you think is better: To build a company that thrives on real market demand, or to chase investor-driven growth that may not stand the test of time?

Even though you might be right, how do you convince a project to ignore a readily available huge VC funding to an uncertain generated revenue ?

I love the fact you always want to an impact. Something I actually admire. Your drive is crazyyyy, working on a project for that long. How come I never heard about the older projects? The one you didn’t abandon, where is that now? And besides what made you abandon the other one, you weren’t seeing results you wanted?

absolutely, revenue often offers more sustainable growth and valuable insights compared to vc funding it does encourage focus on building a solid business model and customer base longterm success often comes from understanding and meeting your market's needs, which revenue driven strategies can better support

Far too many founders use vc money to find pmf. They should only raise if they need to scale a validated idea. It's that simple.

Revenue beats VC funding in the long run. You keep control, learn more, and build something sustainable. Sure, Ryan Breslow might be an exception, but for most, focusing on revenue is the smarter play. @notdevin.eth

I get where you’re coming from but most times it’s hard to resist cause of the huge amount of money these VCs are offering Not everyone might be able to resist it Would you completely advise not to ever take the VC funding ? Or just when it’s long term
