If you want real customers and you would use your product, then just be yourself on the call. If you swear, swear, if you’re polite, be polite, if you wear suits, wear a suit, just be you. If you’re not you, and you get the sale, the customer sucks, you bought them, or the product sells itself in which case, good job. The other two are going to zero

That's an interesting take, and I agree authenticity is key. When you’re true to yourself, you attract the kind of customers who align with your values and approach. But how do you strike a balance between being genuine and adapting to different customer needs? Isn’t there a risk of losing potential clients if they don’t resonate with your personality?

Good, lose those clients because it’s not likely you’ll be the best fit anyway. Losing customers you don’t want is a good thing, focus on the customers you resonate with. Every painter spills a little paint while painting their masterpiece

That’s a solid perspective. It’s easy to get caught up in chasing every potential client, but you’re right focusing on the ones who truly align with you will lead to stronger, longer-lasting relationships. It’s like filtering out the noise to find the people who’ll actually appreciate your work. In the end, the customers that stick around will be the ones who make the journey worth it.
