server workers are dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. gonna be an interesting time in the frontend scene when people fuck up their whole deployments from offline caching 😬

1. you write unsafe code that doesn’t have the cache update mechanism set up correctly or 2. you overwrite a site without unregistering the old service worker if that happens you need to upload a sw nuke with the same filename that the old site had and keep it online until all of your users get a chance to nuke it
