I love the OG Dune movie, I’ve seen it >100 times (RIP USA Network)

I still haven’t seen new d2 but the first one wasn’t on the path to being better than David Lynch’s

I definitely enjoyed part 1, I just think they edited out too much nuance and while the Lynch’s fumbled on itself, it did so because it was attempting to capture too much nuance for what was possible at the time 

I’m sure I’ll enjoy part 2 as well though so this take is only so 🌶️

Kinda triggering, but also I haven't seen the first Dune movie (because it looked so 🧀)

That said, if you didn't like Dune: Part One, you might not like Part 2, because it was just so much extra.

I loved both of the new Dune movies, but I was also on copious amounts of edibles in a bigger than big screen theater

Love David Lynch, but can't say I agree (also only seen 1st new Dune.) Saw interview recently where Lynch said he didn't have final cut on his Dune, and that's the only film where he's let that happen, fwiw.

I liked the OG as well, the new ones were very slow
