inside me there are two wolves used to strongly believe the later, but am increasingly sympathetic to the former curious to hear from @betashop.eth and @dwr.eth as their respective strategies seem to embody these two poles

i think most events are a total waste of time for founders, and should be avoided like the plague when you are in build mode the only events i find valuable -- and only as a b2b service for developers -- is hackathons, as it provides for rapid use case exploration and feedback cycles

so—if you weren’t building developer tools you wouldn’t attend any events at all? even after build mode, when seeking new users and feedback? what would you do instead?

What's your product? Who are your target users? events are typically very high cost/low ROI to acquire end users
