i think most events are a total waste of time for founders, and should be avoided like the plague when you are in build mode the only events i find valuable -- and only as a b2b service for developers -- is hackathons, as it provides for rapid use case exploration and feedback cycles

i mean, if you're selling to devs and you can give a tech talk/workshop in front of devs, than some events could be useful but in general having a booth at generalized blockchain events is a waste of time imo, it's not sales
