Farcaster travel friends: what aspects of Airbnb do you dislike? What can we improve about Airbnb?

hosts requiring guests do chores as part of their stay. nothing kills the vibe like having to do the dishes before checking out. even more ridiculous when paying (sometimes high) cleaning fees

wish checkin logistics were (a lot more) standardized

Thanks for sharing! This is something that def comes up often and we’re working on it.

There are big branded Airbnbs where you stay under one roof with other guests and there’s a front desk for easy check in and a cleaning staff for any mess. Have you tried ?

Totally second this. Vacation is always better without having to do chores ;-) Especially when you pay for a cleaning fee.

yeah, the chores have gotten worst over the years.

This. Chores are the single biggest reason my wife will not stay in an airbnb/vrbo/etc.
