hosts requiring guests do chores as part of their stay. nothing kills the vibe like having to do the dishes before checking out. even more ridiculous when paying (sometimes high) cleaning fees wish checkin logistics were (a lot more) standardized

the main reason I use hotels more is I’m 99% guaranteed to get a decent sleep — good mattress, black out blinds all standard there’s no aspect of airbnb that helps me understand this; not worth rolling the dice

I love Airbnb, I've lived out of them full-time for the past 4 years! Since I'm regularly searching for places, it'd help a lot to be able to filter by rating or # of ratings since for extended stays I don't want to take the risk of a place that has never been rated before or ones that have a low rating

I want to search for places with specific bed sizes: Show me stays with 2 king beds, for example.

I really love airbnb, in fact I prefer it over hotels and even use experiences! One thing I would love more transparently is the cancellation policy in the checkout screen or more clearly on the listing.

there's already a way to filter for pet-friendly airbnbs, but as someone with pet allergies, I would LOVE a way to run that filter in reverse and only select airbnbs that don't allow pets. thank you for soliciting this feedback!

Would be great, in my opinion, to bring in easy ways for creators to partner with hosts and have that built into the pricing options e.g., I often partner with airbnb hosts for discounts via my astro photos

Also, for whatever reason opening airbnb links on my iPhone has never worked. The listing won’t ever pull up on my phone properly. Also airbnb web is buggy on safari, I had to start only booking spots using Brave

Transparent pricing. Search results should show the all-in cost per night including all taxes and fees. This way if your budget is $200/night, you can filter on that and not get tricked into an extra $50/night during your last step

airbnb cant really fix this, but those fees... damn dude it'll be like 4 nights for $1000 then right when you check out it's an additional $150 airbnb service fee + $200 for taxes

a part of booking that I feel is under explored: understanding areas of a city/location and what its like - what is walkable what isn't, what's the vibe of this area? Is this area safe? is uber available around there?

Many started having unreasonably high cleaning fees, that is often better to get a hotel.

I rarely stay in an Airbnb any more: quality is too inconsistent and it's too much work to find a good one. Hosts often feel more like landlords than hoteliers. I'll take a midwit median hotel over a roll of the dice.

Fees. For example, dont allow the host to charge cleaning fees AND ask you to clean dishes and other stuff. Doesn't make sense.
