I know some people are grumbling, but I really think I'm going to like the change. It will make it easier to build *communities* of people with similar interests and goals. There will be an invite link and channel owners can make that public if they want, which will work with some big general topic channels, but for things like /success and /curious-creators it'll make it easier to cultivate those communities. Feeds will be chronological and spam filters won't be applied, so every member gets a chance to be seen, but owners can develop their own standards for membership.

Errrr, im still in-between lol, love your enthusiasm btw, but I’m curious about the /memes channel specifically. What plans do you have in mind to ensure it remains a lively space for humor and creativity while aligning with the new guidelines? I only found out today about the hypersub ha ha *proceeds to lightly Insert a plea 😭😭

how do you foresee channel owners using these updates. lots to digest. feels it might take a while to get there. also feels like most channels are non-moderated and those won't get much love for now
