Can Farcaster become social-network-Switzerland? There's a lot of discussion around community notes (see Zuck). I feel that Farcaster, FIP-2, maybe @anonworld, could be combined in some way to provide community notes as a protocol. And in this case, Farcaster being small (compared to Meta, X), and open, could be an advantage: This is neutral ground as far as the big players are concerned.

Say what you want about AI-generated images. What I see is an explosion of creativity. Today's teenagers will be unable to understand how we lived in a world so limiting, where visualizing what you had in your mind was so hard and so expensive.

Closure: I can't be 100% sure if this was the root cause of my problems, probably this combined with some other stuff, but this fix, which is merged in 1.18.0, seems to have fixed the problems! 🎉 Grateful to @sanjay for spending time on this during the holiday season, while also working on snapchain. 🙏 https://github.com/farcasterxyz/hub-monorepo/pull/2462
