Oh thatโs super cool. I def second the sailor style. That was my first thought. Iโm not sure if you are doing an animation with it, but I feel like a pearlessant color would look phenomenal as accents. If it was a gif you could do where itโs mostly pearl with the background cycling blue/purp/pink/orange in gaps.

i somehow see @omgidrawedit having cool ideas for this. i see the sea. i see movement. this seems that it could be a fun gif, with the waves moving to the dancing of the siren. the anchor is the weigh that brings the flow to the earth. the top dot is the opening of the crown

I think if you colored this like a pirate themed tattoo with bold colors, line work, and shading, it would turn out awesome. Another possible idea would be for this to be in a wood carving style! So sick!
