one longevity discourse reframing (i think from jacob) that helped me was that people online overindex on immortality/avoiding death as opposed to just increasing lifespan, eg to 150 or 200 years

It’s certainly less hubristic. No one really objects to a longer healthier life. People have the idea that seeking immortality taunts the gods.
