Lettting users chose their algo is definitely a way to go; how you consume the content is in your hands. 
Sometimes i want a chronological feed and some other times i don’t mind it being random… 

I don’t agree with this; i might be missing something or maybe it’s because I am not creating/investing in consumer apps.
