it's official. i can no longer fathom living without chatgpt. i have so quickly become dependent on it that i would be lost trying to work without it

I suggest trying to run some on your own computer! Mistral can usually fit on most GPUs, or Mixtral if you've got a bunch of VRAM. Mixtral is not quite ChatGPT-4 level, but it's roughly on par with GPT-3.5.
You can try them easily with LM Studio, a graphical user interface for downloading and running them on desktops.

Ggl gemini ultra has free 2 month trial in most regions if you want to try it. It's somewhat faster and can be integrated with google apps.
Love it for text summaries, new dapp/protocols explanations and writing assistance.
I'm going to try Claude next.
