I think that Ram Dass wasn’t speaking metaphorically here. He meant it literally. There is no “other.” There’s just one thing wearing billions of masks, temporarily pretending to be separate people. But eventually, we all wake up and remember:

We were never separate. We were always One.

And once you taste that understanding, life feels profoundly different. ❤️
