alright… is business school actually worth it these days? are those mba degrees necessary or can experience and networking get you further? i can sense a divide here especially in this space.

Having an MBA from a not well-known school, the networking was not great. For an elite school, it might be. It's all about the contacts and trust. As far as the education goes. Marketing, BLaw, Biz Communications and Operations mgmt were helpful, but Accounting, Finance, Economics could probably spend about a day on each and just hire a CFO when you need one. Software solves a lot of these things nowadays.

congrats on getting your mba! for sure, seems like the real value is in who you meet, not so much the coursework. you can outsource some of those departments
