Google Maps Offline: Download maps of your destination for offline use. This can be a lifesaver when you don’t have access to data or Wi-Fi. Your phone can still use your GPS location from the cellular connection as long as the maps are downloaded ahead of time to your phone!

https://www.booking.com I use booking.com, it has a loyalty program, when you book with them they give you a discount on your next reservations, in addition to discounts when renting cars, flights, taxi, etc.

You can put them in glasses cases to protect the charger and handsfree cables. Also, wrap the headphone cord around a paper clip to prevent it from tangling.

Cheaper Business class upgrades... A Lot of airlines offer a bid for an upgrade. The majority of people will bid the lowest amount. If you bid 10 - 15% more than the minimum you'll more than likely get it. Has worked for me several times already.

If you use a US based charger for your device/s and travel abroad, check the tiny print on one of the sides for the voltage. If it lists something similar to "100-250v 50/60hz" (important it goes up to at least 220v) It wont save you from having to get a pin-adapter, but it might save you from paying extra for something that does unnecessary changes to the voltage being converted to direct current to charge your device.

When traveling, carry a decoy wallet in addition to your real one. Fill it with a few expired cards and a small amount of cash. In the event of a mugging or pickpocketing, you can hand over the decoy wallet, protecting your actual valuables.

Here’s a niche for filmmakers: priority passes (or whatever each airline calls them) actually matter. When traveling with cameras in your carry-on, use a backpack instead of wheeled luggage and buy a priority pass. If you do both and keep your gear on your back rather than in wheeled luggage, the size of your luggage often doesn't matter, as agents tend to overlook it when you're among the first to board.

If you use jd.com to shop, after you have selected the items you want to buy, submit the order, and cancel the order when you pay, you will get a voucher that can be used directly. I always do this and it saves a lot of money.
