Illuminating the ever-changing tides of life

I have a tiny set of images I wish I minted in the moment last winter/spring; I'm currently working through how I want my Plates to ebb and flow. I want the flexibility to share 1/1 works which happen 'in the moment', but also chapters to follow with broader collections of work.

My original 'Plates' are available in printed  editions of 6. These handmade platinum editions are meticulously crafted reproductions of the original digital works. These prints invite the viewer to reflect on the coexistence and interplay between digital originality and tangible replication.

I recently shared with someone how my ‘plates’ are continuously minted on my 2021 Manifold contract. Their reaction was priceless🥹 I love the merging of art and tech, and seeing others get excited about how I value blockchain provenance in addition to the art is everything to me

OpenSea has received a Wells notice from the SEC threatening to sue us because they believe NFTs on our platform are securities.

We're shocked the SEC would make such a sweeping move against creators and artists. But we're ready to stand up and fight.

This is a move into uncharted territory. By targeting NFTs, the SEC would stifle innovation on an even broader scale: hundreds of thousands of online artists and creatives are at risk, and many do not have the resources to defend themselves.

In addition to standing our own ground, we're pledging $5M to help cover legal fees for NFT creators and devs that receive a Wells notice. Every creator, big or small, should be able to innovate without fear.

I hope the SEC will come to its senses sooner rather than later, and that they'll listen with an open mind.

Until then, we'll stand up and fight for our industry.
