Do any Casters co-own a plane with a group of other private pilots? I'm curious to hear about your experience. âď¸

Have friends who do, 2 planes: one they lend to the club (DR220) and one for them only (Stolp Starduster Too SA300) and they seem to really enjoy them. However it may be complicated when you lend it to the club as they had some unhappy members having concerns about the club doing the maintenance for a private plane...

No I think lending to the club is a great idea. It allows clubs to have nice planes and still allows you to fly in them. But you have to have a very clear contract with them and ideally involve all the members in the decision and listen to their doubts and fear. Then decide. Maybe it's not for all clubs.
