my biggest concern with people in tech who spend all day shouting on the internet is that many of them spend very little time talking to the people actually critical to society:

doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, mechanics, farmers, chefs, baristas, mailmen, janitors, retail workers, etc.

The people in my life who are teachers, baristas, craftsmen, government workers, railroad engineers, etc are my dearest friends

Just about everyone else is a colleague
