Let's flip that last question, designersβwhat's a product you use regularly (daily or at the very least weekly) but don't consider to be "well-designed"?

SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE DISCOVERY EXPERIENCE. Curious what you dislike the most about Spotify. It's one of those products that I have always used in the same way (so, since like 2010), even if/when they come out with new features. Lots of the visual indicators are also unclear and the IA needs some love.

Is Spotify a music discovery app or a social music app? The world may never know.

Aside from that unanswerable question, hard to find just one thing. Agreed on the IA; the visual hierarchy is ROUGH. I find managing my library of playlists to be very clunky. Also, browsing through an artist's discography is an endless scroll with no clear markers or way to filter/sort through it. Their custom playlist QR codes are SUCH a cool feature but they've totally dropped the ball on the education and execution of that feature β let me scan it from my phone camera instead of in-app (why am I pulling my camera up in a music streaming app??)
