Flexipoles to designate bike lanes means cars often drive in the bike lane to turn right at clogged intersections. They’re fantastic for cheap bike lanes and road experiments, but better barriers or tighter clustering would keep cars away and lanes safe.

When I saw these in Cambridge I was amazed, they're obviously cost-effective (although with hidden public works costs you never know) but they just look like they take more space than they should It's difficult to gauge safe distance so I drive farther than I normally would - maybe by design?
