How is it that you can just tell from the quality of the writing that someone won't be susceptible to constructive feedback? XD

Agreed on unsolicited feedback. I would never provide feedback unless someone specifically asked. Although the circumstances that prompted my post was my local writers' group where people submit their pieces specifically for feedback... and in this instance, this person submitted once and blew up over the feedback. :D

I try to do more of this. While I can have an opinion, I don't always have to say it out loud. I don't like most writings, because, frankly, they are really bad.

And most people getting criticized are not even asking for feedback 

There is a time and place for feedback, and it's on the writer to ask for it.
