Since FC hub data is public, what's the benefit of using SIWF over connecting with a wallet and associating a FC account (like @paragraph @bracketgame et al), and just pulling the social graph / content as needed?

Especially since connecting a wallet is more decentralized than doing OAuth facilitated by Warpcast?

From the most objective stance possible, onboarding new users to FC is a massive friction point.

But the reliance on Warpcast is a huge issue and forces both WC and the other app to be massively popular. 

I know some teams are working on this already but I don’t think we’ll see a killer app until this has been resolved. 

Until then, I imagine most consumer apps will rely on FC data as a feature similar to finding friends already connected to Telegram through your contact list.
