Ethereum has the highest economic stake of any proof of stake network on earth. This is a major achievement.

I think a big problem I have with Farcaster is that it feels to much like work. Too much crypto, founder and product focus and not enough lighter content. Yes, it’s much higher signal to noise than Twitter, but it’s lacking the randomness of world events and memes that come about on Twitter. I’m excited to see where it all goes though, this is a fixable issue IMO.

They should only be considered a signing factor not your only signing factor for exactly this reason.

I feel like Farcaster could improve the discovery mechanism of new people to follow. This is something Twitter does well.

I was so happy to leave. The rest of the world is amazing. Very happy to be out.

Yeah, most people don’t understand you wouldn’t want to live in a post apocalyptic world at all. Loneliness would be your greatest enemy, that and starving. I think crypto has its place as a hedge against local government messing up the countries finances and allowing greater personal sovereignty.

Very excited to rollout more information soon on our state minimization approaches with Fuel. Not only is it positive more sustainable blockchain design, but for optimistic rollups it’s essential to keep node requirements in check. On throughout, it enables far superior processing properties.

I think they will be. It’s a novel idea, and one many sympathize with. Their new extendable GPU or Cooling design will likely end up being a battery extension at some point. But for now, many good machines off the shelf. Also look into the Ryzen 9 series mobile chips. They are beasts that well out perform M1-3.

AMD is a better mobile chip, it’s newer technology. Intel is still stuck improving their old fab designs. Less hot, better battery efficiency. So better battery life and power out of AMD. The framework was another one, the issue there was battery life overtime and they don’t ship directly to PT.

What are your top non M-series alternatives for laptops? My criteria is greater than 18k CPU benchmark score, long battery life and AMD.

The Yoga Slim 7 Pro AMD has an awesome processor, around 1500 Euro, long enough battery life (9-10hs). It’s the closest competitor I could find to Apple at least here in Portugal on store shelves. The LG Gram for weight and battery life seems great but I believe they ship with only Intel for later models.

Ethereum has been running on an honest minority assumption the entire time, his name is Vitalik Buterin.

UTXOs are the endgame. Once you realize how effective they are at state minimization (when designed correctly), you realize why all global ledgers should use them.

Incredible. Nice to still see that Geth still has a ways to go on optimizations. Curious what you think of these “parallel EVM” chains or “pipelining” considering you have been in the EVM trenches this entire time.

I’ve become more and more interested in re-forestation after watching a few documentaries on its success in small Indian villages. I think humans have a real shot to save a lot of desert land and turn it back into productive high water table environments with nothing more than some shovels and knowledge.

I have it on good evidence that large bodies of open source code have been written at Starbucks. I can’t pin exactly why, perhaps it’s the familiarity and consistency.
