another expo-video and expo-av challenge I ran into is animating the seek bar

right now it requires using the JS thread to get an updated value for the current time and then updating the status bar to animate

it'd be incredible if expo-video native modules could write the status directly to a SharedValue from react-native-reanimated on the UI thread so the animation could be butter smooth

yeah what you described sounds like the dream. i’m not familiar with the api but my only guess as to how else you might be able to do it is if the slider accepts a style prop that can be a (re)animated style
