“Create your own market” could be a killer growth catalyst for prediction markets. A new business model is unlocked for creators when anyone can create a market on anything and generate a fee. Thoughts?

imagine this flow: reading some news, you think an analyst is making the wrong prediction. highlight it, click "bet on it" it searches for all prediction markets on the topic if there's none: it uses gpt to create a proper question and creates it on various prediction markets of your choice

Interesting idea 💡 Creation of prediction markets by individuals would ensure a wider variety of topics, tapping into niche or specialized areas that may not be covered by centrally-created markets. This diversity can attract a broader user base.

I think it's *possible*, however I believe much more consideration needs to go into it than most people believe. Letting anyone on the internet create a financial derivative resolved to a subjective outcome can lead to precarious situations. Also markets then become very catered towards what oracle is resolving it.

early music NFTs as essentially new markets for creators, collectors showing support and forecasting future growth a non-financial layer for this could also be interesting predict collabs on next album = earn/redeem experience (this is one of latin/hiphop fans fave things to do)

I recently suggest a friend get in on the Djoker AUS Open outcome and he was looking for odds for a calendar slam, a “create your own market” or a “provide odds for a slightly different bet” coulda worked here
