Definitely a valid concern. The main protection right now is that removing the signer will remove all messages sent by that signer for your fid. Seems good enough for now.

I don’t really see what problems in my life could be created by anything a third party app could do here so I don’t ever think about it. Bad actors always show up at some point but that’s typically when it’s possible to create an advantage by being a bad actor

oauth for google / facebook / twitter works exactly the same farcaster permissions could use some better granularity but it will come sooner or later @manan @rish

I agree and have asked for scoped permissions a few times but understand why it's not a priority for the protocol team (most people don't notice or care, and nothing bad has happened yet)
