I’ve always loved sneakers, and dreamed in high school that once I started making money I would have a huge collection

but over time my enthusiasm has waned. I can (mostly) afford the shoes today, but there’s only like a dozen models that really interest me anymore

Even though I can afford most of the sneakers I want today, paying full resell price kills the excitement a little bit. There is a high I get from getting sneakers at a deal.

true. I hardly try anymore though, the SNKRS experience is so bad and there’s so much botting/backdooring that happens for everything else
