I personally think they botched the Next.js transition from page router to app router – a lot of people haven’t bothered to migrate yet. They’ve also split the React community in two by pushing for RSCs. A few too many breaking changes in such a short period of time.

aside from some controversies (e.g. cloning apps, ex employee accessing private accounts, etc) - i wonder if people are reacting to a sense of brand misalignment? they are seemingly champions of DX but ppl rnt feeling that DX at times
