I don’t think this will matter. Drug pricing is bullshit anyway. It’s not like pricing relates to supply, demand, costs, etc. Drugs are priced to maximize profits for the manufacturer and 4 middlemen before it reaches the patient. 

Insurers make more money when prices go up, and they’re the actual customer.

Good point. There’s now a new excuse to use for the next planned 75% spike in drug prices.

But prices were going to go up as much as possible either way.

This is fair and true. I just assume maybe unfairly that this will be some cudgel used to make people pay more despite the fact that the market as is, is so distorted
