how do you choose between: - jolt / lasso - sp1 - risc0 looking for something that will be production ready, onchain verifiable and open source to use in the next 2-3 months

Jolt/lasso. I’m writing something about this actually to publish soon but jolt/lasso beats risc0 by a LOT right now and with binius should have a 10x speed up that sp1 can’t have as much because they’re based on the FRI commitment scheme. Also Jolt/Lasso is a cool name.

I think jolt is gonna be long term the best choice as it is rn. @ncitron.eth just added std support so a lot of libraries will now work out of the box. I’d ask Noah your questions though

To be fair, and while I agree with @eulerlagrange.eth that Jolt will win out long-term, it is worth nothing that sp1 is a FRI based zkVM which is based off of PLONKY3. And most of the zk space is based around FRI/PLONKY so there's a lot more people working on optimizations around those systems.
