The hype around Abstract feels a bit manufactured

Went from hearing nothing to multiple people messaging me about it last week. Good marketing campaign ahead of launch!

That said, it’s giving me mature cycle forced rotation vibes — not really sure what *another* chain will do to onboard real audiences

I think Berachain has left a significant amount of money on the table by letting Abstract launch before them.

The same applies, but less so to MegaETH since they’ve started almost exactly a year ago.

Both Abstract and Berachain are trying to become a “consumer chain,” with very opinionated brands and infra. The unfortunate reality is that there are only a handful of quality teams + time that those projects can allocate to specific chains. The longer to launch, the more likely teams are to migrate elsewhere imo
