Imo he’s right that users don’t want to choose their algo

That doesn’t mean the user’s ability to choose isn’t extremely important

I think strongly opinionated defaults with the ability to choose would be the *healthiest* scenario

Let’s say there are two groups of users who have contradictory choices, you satisfy one half would lead to the other half been pissed.
