I’m concerned about Deso putting social data on chain - FC Hubs are much more protective (and supports deletion natively, I assume) compared to Deso which nothing can ever really be deleted

You could just make an action that negates the original comment. Trivial from blockchain perspective, annoying from an indexing perspective.

Isn’t the original content (before the negation) still on chain and searchable? The indexing point is a good one too, they’ll likely keep original copies of the posts.

This is true in Farcaster as well. There are two data sets, add-set and rem-set… I don’t know full details but the data never actually gets deleted it is simply negated. And then accounted for? Not sure, might be worth checking docs
