Ettore Bugatti is an Italian designer and industrialist, founder of the French automotive company Bugatti.

He was born into the family of Italian cabinetmaker and jewelry designer Carlo Bugatti. The family did not feel a lack of finances, but the boy dreamed very much about cars.

At the age of 17, he secretly assembled his first car from his parents. Ettore won the first place at the Milan exhibition for it.
