Ettore Bugatti is an Italian designer and industrialist, founder of the French automotive company Bugatti.
He was born into the family of Italian cabinetmaker and jewelry designer Carlo Bugatti. The family did not feel a lack of finances, but the boy dreamed very much about cars.
At the age of 17, he secretly assembled his first car from his parents. Ettore won the first place at the Milan exhibition for it.
This interested the investor Count Gunelli. After 2 years, Ettore's second car receives a gold medal
Having established a reputation as a promising designer, Ettore became interested in car racing, which had a beneficial effect on his next car: Bugatti-10
On January 1, 1910, the Automobiles Ettore Bugatti company appeared.
The key year for the company was 1912, when Ettore began to develop the Bugatti Type 13, which became the basis for further models.
This is a vivid example of the fact that if you want something very much, then despite external circumstances, it can be achieved. 2 replies
