Someone should make a smart contract based commitments app with polymarket style betting attached to it. E.g I commit to publish sci-fi novel by EOY. Elect @dawufi as the “oracle”. Then anyone who wants to bet Y/N on it happening can do so. Silly, yes, but could be fun.

Poker players make these prop bets all the time. Would be great to bring it onchain. Problem to solve might be more subjectivity to outcomes re: resolutions or low participation on most bets (how much of prediction market bets require someone to take the other trade/sorta market make? None?).
