One misconception I see about spam labeling: "I'm a real human. I'm not a bot." Claiming "I'm not a bot" doesn't change the quality of your content. If you're farming replies and not being thoughtful, that's spam. And saying "Oh, I was just hoping to make some money, I'll do better in the future" doesn't work. Because every spammer will say the same thing. It's not hard to not be spammy. Just cast a little less, be a little more thoughtful.

we are currently testing a feature that enables a "group chat" experience within the cast that announces when someone starts streaming would that be considered spam if there are many comments between users within that cast? not trying to game the system here, just trying to build on what already exists

No. The pattern I'm referring to is replying to every cast of a big account hoping for a reply back (farming)
