I went from not working out at all 2 years ago to slowly ramping up to working out every day now (Pilates + lifting). I know everyone says it but another data point it changed my life. Calmer, better sleep, no more back pain, more confident, led to eating healthier, get sick less

I started lifting a couple of years ago but I've had some minor injuries that forced me to stop, maybe adding some flexibility training like pilates is the key

Highly recommend Pilates and/or physical therapy which I go to for my back pain (that's what got me into deadlifting)

my gym's pilates classes are full of old ladies, and that's literally the only thing stopping me I know it's a dumb reason lol

It's not! I totally get it, I actually have a private Pilates session whenever my husband joins me since he's more comfortable with that. Another option if available is you can do private or duet with someone else which reduces cost
