Any tips on how I can resurrect and re-season a cast iron pan? Tried avocado oil in the oven but didn’t seem to do anything

1.Clean It Thoroughly 2.Remove Rust (if necessary) 3.Apply Oil 4.Bake It 5.Cool in the Oven 6.Repeat 2-3 times.
