GM! Some really exciting life news I never shared: I am now working on Hypeshot (formerly known as the402)! We are trying to make it easier to make money via streaming through web3. If anyone is interested here is our site https://www.hypeshot.io! Here are some thoughts on my job search since it was 95% Farcaster.

Check out Jeremy Silman’s “How to Reassess your Chess”. Helped me gain about 300 ELO (1700-2000) but presents a framework that should help people at most skill levels below titled players

Recently looked through a bunch of options and settled on Sentry, very average opinion of it though

RainbowKit + Wagmi saved me a good bit of dev time when it initially came out. But it’s intolerably flaky- what are some alternatives you all use?

Nice yeah we use something called Goldsky because Graph is too slow, indexing the indexer in-house is next level 🫡

Thanks for sharing, both look interesting but not looking for stuff triggered on contract events for our use case. Just snapshots of a wallets owned assets at a point in time

Feel like this is super common for me 1. Oh look a shiny API 2. But it’s rate limited 3. Let me just write a script to periodically query the API and persist the data to a DB I can freely query from Is there a better pattern? Otherwise doing something like this for ERC-20 and NFT indexers this week

Imo a combination, SSR for things that matter for link previews and SEO. CSR for the rest to reduce FCP eg in the case of server cold starts

Underrated benefit of using Copilot so far: I’m adding more comments and comments are higher quality since I’m trying to make the most of the comment => code feature

I’m anti-maximalism bc all tech has tradeoffs and therefore certain things it’s good for and certain things it’s not good for. Probably not the spiciest take in a community of builders like FC, but feel like it might be on CT
