I do enjoy, it's a slower speed - lot of background, context setting. 300 pages in is the moment the composer makes his agreement with Mephisto.

It is nice to savor. I often read several books simultaneously to create prolonging connections with them and lately I am all about classics. Chekhov captured me with some short stories and I am prolonging those as well 😂
