Hisaishi mostly known for his Ghibli soundtracks, he did create a masterwork for the movie departures. 

This one is an all-time favorite, can't say I'd not occasionally shed a tear when listening to this.

I like his “one summer day”. Somehow, it feel very Asian to me. (But I can’t really tell why)
