This could well be. 

As far as I understood Kierkegaard was a big fan of Socrates' use of irony in "destroying" people's confidence in their idea of the world which then serves to create something out of it, leads people to rethink. 

Nietzsche definitely does something similar with tearing down God (or broadly meaning provided to life by the afterlife) which paves the way to then make something of it. 

Both to me are in the realm of Existentialism and nihilism so I'd not be surprised to find overlap in their thoughts.

Although Kierkegaard's definitely skews heavily toward being a Christian as the good life (not that he was necessarily a happy person 😂😂)

Very interesting — I wonder if Nietzsche was choosing his loudness “ironically”. 

(His subtitle for Twilight of the Idols was “How to Philosophize with a Hammer” — one of the points being that you get heard by breaking things.)
