🐈 "The Marvels" was a fun, popcorn adventure. Funny. Action. Heart. Not everything has to feel like end-the-universe while saving it. Ignore the review-bomber bros.

1. That article speaks to outcome, not causality. 2. The SAG-AFTRA strike and lack of promotion has hurt a number of projects. 3. Unfair media expectations that every Marvel installment has to do a billion dollars the first week. Also, misaligned incentives. "Doom" and drama articles get more clicks. 🀷

Many projects have succeeded during the strike, pointed out in the article. It is not about unfair media expectations. Look at the $200m budget + $100m or more in advertising v results

Also, I linked to the Associated Press... not exactly a news outlet known for click bait. πŸ™„ "widely regarded as one of the most reputable and reliable news organizations in the world.. Key aspects of AP's reputation include: Neutrality and Objectivity"

Congrats. You found a widely regarded neutral and objective news source. I'm sure that's been indicative of most entertainment and pop culture headlines. πŸ™„ The MCU has problems: Yes. I think the fatigue and too much inter-connected content is taking a toll. The film is better than toxic fan culture wants though.
